Given the sadistic nature of the game as it is, there are bound to be some brutal fan-made levels on the horizon. Creators can decide whether the thugs are static or have a roaming patrol pattern. Gamers determined to set a vicious challenge can even change the nature of the opponents themselves, from what weapons they are using to their role in the level. Players can set up their own floor plan, adding rooms, windows and doors, and fill it with furnishings (everything including the kitchen sink), retro décor and deadly enemies. Given that this may well be the last Hotline Miami game, fans of the stylized brutality it provides will at least be able to find solace in a wealth of user-made content to keep them occupied indefinitely. Set for release later this year, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will allow players to make their own levels, and share them online with fellow twisted souls. The upcoming title will come complete with a full level editor. Those after more of a fix than Devolver Digital and Dennaton Games can provide will be in for a treat with Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. The fast-paced, ultra-violent action lends itself to quick play sessions that turn into hours of fiendish fun. Hotline Miamiearned a reputation for being an addictive, retro-styled title hit worthy of a followup.
